Miami, FL (September 12, 2019) - A crash in Miami left a City of Miami officer hurt and a woman in custody for driving under the influence on Thursday, September 12th. The crash happened around 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of Northwest Third Avenue and 14th Street.
According to reports, the officer was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with a head injury. Video from the scene showed the officer being taken away in an ambulance. Following an investigation into the two-vehicle crash, a woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Neither the woman nor the officer have been identified at this time. The circumstances surrounding the accident are unknown.
