Miami, FL (November 3, 2019) - A crash involving a car and a golf cart left a man critically hurt in Miami. The crash occurred on Saturday, November 2nd on the MacArthur Causeway around 5:00 a.m.
Police say that the collision occurred in the westbound lanes of the causeway. The golf cart operator was ejected after the crash and suffered a head injury. He was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. The driver of the car, 20-year-old Paloma Guelfi, was investigated and taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
The westbound lanes of the Causeway were closed for several hours and reopened around 4:00 p.m. No further information is available.
