Miami, FL (October 31, 2019) - A crash involving a motorcyclist on US 1 shut down all lanes of the roadway in Miami. The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 31st.
The City of Miami Police, along with Fire Rescue units, were called to the crash scene. Reports indicate that a motorcycle and a car were involved in the collision, near Southwest 16th and 22nd Avenues. Rescue workers transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. His identity has not been released at this time. The other driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
There is no word on what led up to the crash, although the motorcycle was seen wedged underneath the front bumper of a gray sedan. No further details have been released at this time.
