Miami, FL - Three People, Including Officer, Hospitalized in Miami Crash

Miami, FL (November 2, 2018) - Three people, including a police officer, are in the hospital following a crash in Miami. The crash took place on Thursday, November 1st.
The Miami-Dade Police along with Miami Fire Rescue responded to the crash scene at the intersection of Seventh Avenue and 36th Street. When officials arrived, they located all three injured victims and transported them to Jackson Memorial Hospital. One of the victims is identified as a police officer. There is no word at this time on the extent of the injuries involved or the cause of the collision.
Traffic in the area was affected by the wreck as motorists were advised to avoid the area while it was shut down due to the crash investigation. No additional information is available at this time.

St. Augustine Beach, FL - Woman Critically Hurt While Crossing State Road A1A
A woman from Interlachen suffered critical injuries after being hit by a car on State Road A1A. The crash took place around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, March 4th.
The Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the crash near Pope Road. The victim of the collision was identified as 19-year-old Rainy Georgia Dawn Smith. Troopers report that an Acura Integra driven by 51-year-old Harry Brownett struck Smith. Smith was taken by ambulance to UF Health Jacksonville with critical injuries. Brownett was not hurt in the crash.
