Middleburg, FL (April 29, 2021) - Police and rescue officials responded to the scene of a plane crash in Middleburg on Wednesday, April 28th. The accident happened around 10:00 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Troopers say that three people were killed when the plane went down just west of Middleburg. There were three people aboard the aircraft at the time of the crash. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are not available at this time. There is no information on what caused the accident to occur and officials do not know where the plane was headed at the time of the crash.
