Miramar, FL (July 19, 2021) - Police are searching for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash in Miramar on Monday, July 19th. The accident took place just before 1:00 p.m. in the 17800 block of Miramar Parkway.
According to a report, a driver in an Infiniti was struck by a driver in a mint green Dodge Challenger. After the crash, the Infiniti left the roadway and hit several trees before it burst into flames. The driver died at the scene. The driver of the Challenger fled the area before police could arrive. The deceased victim was not immediately identified. Officials believe that the Challenger has front passenger side damage.
Anyone with information on the collision or the suspect is asked to the Broward Crime Stoppers.
