Monroe County (May 13, 2019) - One person is dead after their SUV was hit by a Miami-Dade Transit bus on Monday, May 13th. The crash happened around 5:00 p.m. near US-1 in the Florida Keys.
There is no information on exactly how the crash occurred. The deceased victim has not been identified by officers at this time, pending family notification. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is looking into the crash, along with the Florida Highway Patrol. There is no word at this time on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
