Moore Haven, FL (September 7, 2019) - A crash in Moore Haven on Friday, September 6th left three people injured. The collision took place around 2:45 p.m. on County Road 731 near Walter Greer Road.
26-year-old Jonathan Clarke Busbin was traveling northbound on County Road 731 when he came to a curve in the roadway. Busbin failed to navigate the curve, causing his vehicle to veer off into the grassy shoulder. The vehicle continued traveling before it collided with a fence and a tree before coming to rest while facing eastbound.
Following an investigation, Busbin was charged with driving under the influence causing bodily injury. Busbin's passenger, 27-year-old T.J. Albertelli and 27-year-old John Knight sustained serious injuries. Albertelli and Knight were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating the crash and no further details are available at this time.
