Naples, FL (May 22, 2021) - A 19-year-old Naples man suffered serious injuries in an accident that took place on Thursday, May 20th in Naples. The collision happened on Carica Road near Sandpine Drive.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. According to a report, three teenagers were traveling southbound on Carica when the driver lost control of her vehicle. She veered off the road and crashed into a culvert and a set of bushes. Both the driver and a female passenger were taken to Naples Hospital with minor injuries. A 19-year-old male passenger was ejected from the car and was seriously hurt. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment. The names of the victims have not been released.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further information has been released.
