Naples, FL (May 2, 2021) - An adult and five children were taken to the hospital after a crash that took place on Friday night in Naples. The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. along Interstate 75 near Collier Boulevard.
According to police, an SUV was traveling along I-75 when a tire blew out on the vehicle causing the driver to lose control and crash into a guardrail. There were six occupants of the vehicle at the time of the accident, including five children. All six were transported to a hospital in Naples for medical treatment. Their conditions and the extent of their injuries are not known at this time. There were no other vehicles involved.
Police are investigating the accident. There is no further information available.
