Naples, FL (January 5, 2021) - One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a crash that took place on I-75 in Naples on Monday, January 4th. It happened near mile marker 42.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 26-year-old woman from Tampa was driving westbound on I-75 when she collided with another vehicle. The Tampa woman's vehicle veered off the roadway and came to rest in the median of the roadway. An 18-year-old passenger in the second vehicle was killed in the accident and the 16-year-old driver was seriously hurt. The woman from Tampa also suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center. No one involved in the crash has been identified at this time.
