Naples, FL (September 1, 2021) - Police responded to a three-car accident in Naples on Tuesday, August 31st. The crash happened at the intersection with U.S. 41 and Pelican Boulevard.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were called to the scene. According to reports, two people suffered serious injuries. One of the victims was airlifted to a hospital while the other was transported by ambulance. One of the vehicles was ripped in half at the crash site. Troopers have not released the names of the victims. There is no word on the cause of the collision.
An investigation is underway. There is no further information available.
