Naples, FL (July 28, 2018) – A car accident took place in front of the Golden Gate Community Park in Naples, Florida in Collier County. One person died in the crash early this morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol investigated the incident. They found that 28-year-old Kristers Zeidaks of Naples was driving on Recreation Lane around the area of Wellesley Circle at the time. He lost control of his SUV around the early morning hours at 4:30 a.m.
Zeidaks ran off the roadway and struck a stop sign and fence, which caused him to collide with a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was partially ejected from the SUV.
Zeidaks died at the scene of the accident.
