North Miami Beach, FL (October 29, 2019) - The victim of a fatal crash in North Miami Beach has been identified. The crash initially took place on Thursday, October 24th at the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 163rd Street.
Officials report that Daniel Jeruslami was driving a Jaguar SUV. As he attempted to turn left into a shopping center, his car was struck by a Mercedes-Benz that was traveling at a high rate of speed. Jeruslami's vehicle went airborne following the crash. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Several other motorists were also hurt in the crash but their conditions are not known.
The Mercedes driver has not been identified and charges have yet to be issued at this time. No further information is available.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family of Daniel Jeruslami as they deal with the loss of their family member following this crash. Police will continue to investigate the accident but, at this time, it appears as though Jeruslami's death was caused by a negligent driver.
