North Port, FL (July 5, 2018) – On Tuesday, an accident left five injured in North Port. The crash happened around 10 p.m. at South Salford Boulevard and Wall Lane. Five people were seriously injured and taken to the hospital as a result.
One person was so seriously injured that they were airlifted to the hospital in a medical helicopter on trauma alert status. Four other people were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries in an ambulance.
At this time, the North Port Police Department is investigating the accident to determined what caused it. Salford Boulevard was closed down for quite some time and was reopened again about an hour after the accident took place.
