Approximately 10,000 people will be injured this year in pedestrian accidents. Pedestrians are an extremely vulnerable group and most accidents involving pedestrians will lead to serious injuries or even death in the most catastrophic cases. A pedestrian crash must be closely investigated to determine how it occurred. Authorities will take pictures of the crash scene and will perform a reconstruction of the events as they occurred. Innocent pedestrians who are hurt due to the negligence of drivers will have a legal claim for compensation.
