Oakland Park, FL (July 20, 2021) - A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Oakland Park on Monday, July 19th. The crash took place around 1:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Commercial Boulevard.
The Broward Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. According to deputies, Concepcion Siverts was walking in the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle. When rescue crews arrived, they found Siverts lying in the westbound lanes of the road. She died at the scene. The driver fled the area after striking Siverts. There is no description of the vehicle at this time and police are still investigating the accident.
