Ocala, FL (October 24, 2019) - A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a car in Ocala on Thursday, October 24th. Police responded to the scene around 2:15 p.m.
According to reports, a motorcycle was traveling near Burger King on South Pine Avenue. As the motorcycle approached a Marathon gas station, a car pulled out of the gas station attempting to turn left on Pine. The car pulled into the path of the southbound motorcycle, causing a collision. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released at this time. No one was else was hurt in the crash and authorities have not said whether charges will be filed.
