Ocoee, FL (January 4, 2021) - A skateboarder was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Ocoee on Sunday, January 3rd. The crash took place around 9:05 p.m. on Silver Star Road.
According to police, the skateboarder was near the intersection of Silver Star Road and 1st Street when he was hit by a vehicle. Rescue crews rushed him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. He has been described as an adult male but his identity has not otherwise been released at this time. The vehicle driver fled the scene following the crash and is still at-large at this time.
