Odessa, FL (January 12, 2021) - Two people were killed when an SUV and a motorcycle collided in Odessa on Tuesday. The crash happened on Altamont Lane at the intersection with State Road 54.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that an SUV was traveling northbound on Altamont when the driver came to a stop sign with SR 54. The driver made a left turn and collided with a speeding motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on SR 54. The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man from Wesley Chapel, and the SUV driver, a 20-year-old Odessa man, both died as a result of the crash. Neither of the two men has been identified at this time. There were no additional injuries reported.
No further information is available at this time and an investigation continues.
