Okaloosa County, FL (November 2, 2018) - A 22-year-old man died in a crash on US 98. The crash took place on Thursday, November 1st.
Florida Highway Patrol reports that the man was walking in the eastbound lanes of the Highway around 11:00 pm when the crash occurred. The man was standing in the right lane when he was struck by a car that attempted to make a lane change. The man suffered critical injuries and later succumbed to his injuries. Police have not identified the victim at this time.
No charges were immediately filed in connection with the crash and there is no further information available at this time.
