Okeechobee County, FL (September 26, 2019) - Two pedestrians lost their lives in a tragic crash in Okeechobee County on Wednesday, September 25th. The crash took place on US 441 around 9:45 p.m.
According to police, Carly Morgan Walls and Jessy Josepha Vayda were walking northbound on 441 when they were struck by a white Fork pickup truck. Walls died at the scene of the crash while Vayda later died at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. The truck driver was not hurt in the accident. There is no word at this time on what caused the crash and police are still investigating.
