Opa-Locka, FL (June 9, 2019) - Four people were seriously hurt in a crash that took place on Saturday, June 8th. The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jann Avenue and Northwest 27th Avenue.
Not all details regarding the crash have been released at this time. However, a white Kia Optima was seen wrapped around a tree. Fire & Rescue, as well as Opa-Locka Police, responded to the scene to assist the crash victims. One eyewitness says that the car burst into flames following the impact. Paramedics and firefighters were eventually able to extricate the occupants of the vehicle. Three children and an adult were airlifted to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
