Orange County, FL (August 12, 2019) - A total of 11 children were taken to a local hospital following a crash between a school church van and a car in Orange County. The accident occurred on Monday, August 12th, around 9:00 a.m.
Police and rescue workers responded to the scene in the southbound lanes of I-75, near I-4. Police say that the van collided with a passenger vehicle. All of the injured children were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and one person was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition. Heavy delays around the scene affected traffic, as vehicles were backed up approximately 1.5 miles from the crash site. There is no word on how the accident took place.
