Motorcycle crashes are notoriously severe and deadly. Approximately 14% of all motor vehicle related crash deaths involve motorcycles. While motorcycles bring many thrills, they can also cause tragedy and an accident can have life-altering consequences.
Motorcycle accidents must be carefully examined in order to determine the cause. In this case, police will investigate to determine if the vehicle driver failed to yield or if the crash was otherwise unavoidable. Depending on the results, the motorcyclist's family could potentially bring a claim for wrongful death.
