Orange County, FL (July 30, 2019) - A deputy with the Orange County Sheriff's Office was hurt when he collided with another vehicle while responding to a call for assistance. The crash took place on Monday, July 29th on Rywood Drive.
According to Lt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol, the deputy had his lights and sirens activated when a vehicle pulled out in front of him, causing the crash to occur. The deputy and the driver of the other vehicle both sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and both were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Neither party has been identified at this time.
