Orange County, FL (January 13, 2019) - A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Orange County on Saturday, January 12th. According to reports, the crash took place at the intersection of Colonial Drive and Lake Downey Drive.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to investigate the incident. The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the crash and was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released any information about the pedestrian or the vehicle involved and it remains unclear exactly how the crash took place. Officers did reveal that the pedestrian as not in a crosswalk when the collision occurred.
