Orange Park, FL (April 10, 2021) - A 33-year-old man died in a pedestrian crash that took place early Saturday in Orange Park. The incident was reported around 2:15 a.m. on Blanding Boulevard near Wells Lane.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 33-year-old man from Orange Park was standing in the median on Blanding Boulevard attempting to cross the street. As he crossed, the man was hit by a Honda Civic that was traveling southbound on Blanding. The pedestrian, who was not identified, died at the crash scene. The Civic driver was not injured as a result of the accident.
The crash remains under investigation by the FHP. There is no additional information available.
