Orlando, FL (May 2, 2021) - The Orlando Police Department responded to the scene of a deadly crash along Interstate 4 on Sunday morning. The crash took place near the exit for Michigan Street.
According to officials, a semi-truck and multiple cars were involved in the incident. Several individuals were transported to local hospitals and one later succumbed to their injuries as a result of the crash. The collision resulted in the eastbound lanes of the highway being closed as traffic was diverted off of Orange Blossom Trail. The crash is under investigation by the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Highway Patrol at this time.
