Orlando, FL (November 17, 2019) - Four people suffered injuries in a crash that took place in Orlando on Friday, November 15th. The crash occurred at a Lynx bus stop on Powers Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a minivan traveling on Powers Drive left the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with a bench at the bus stop. The minivan struck the victims, including a 10-year-old boy. The 10-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. There is no word on the conditions of the other victims. The driver of the van, 54-year-old Joseph Charitable, remained at the scene. Charges are pending against Charitable at this time.
Alcohol did not play a role in the crash and the FHP is still investigating at this time.
