Orlando, FL (September 18, 2019) - A child was struck by a vehicle in Orlando on Monday night, September 16th. The crash took place in the 4800 block of West Colonial Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the boy was with his grandfather when he got away from the man and ended up in the roadway where he was hit by a car. The boy was rushed by rescue workers to a nearby hospital where he received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. The driver remained at the crash scene and spoke with police. Neither the boy nor the driver has been identified at this time.
