A reportable accident takes place every 92 seconds in Florida. When you have been hurt in a crash, your life can change immediately. One minute you are going about your day and the next you are facing an uncertain future with high medical costs along with pain and suffering. You may feel hopeless and unsure where to turn.
Fortunately, there is help available. When you have been injured by the negligence of another driver, Florida law gives you certain rights. Every driver in Florida is required to carry a minimum of $10,000.00 in personal injury protection (PIP) insurance. This policy can provide you with immediate help in the event of an injury accident. If your damage amount exceeds the amount of your PIP coverage then a personal injury claim against the other driver may be brought.
