Approximately 100 bicyclists lose their lives each year in Florida bicycle accidents. This number makes our state one of the most dangerous in the nation for riders. While many people enjoy riding bicycles for fun or for transportation, the fact remains that they can become deadly at any time. Bicyclists who are involved in crashes with cars are at risk for serious injuries, including broken bones, neck and back trauma, disfigurement and death. In many cases, the driver of the other vehicle is at fault for causing the crash that injured the bicyclist.
Our thoughts are with the victim's family at this time.
