Orlando, FL (September 13, 2018) - One person is dead following a collision between a car and a tractor trailer on Wednesday, September 13th. The crash happened just before midnight on Sand Lake Road near Kirkman Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 40 year old man was driving a Chevrolet Cruze westbound on Sand Lake Road when he collided with the back of a tractor trailer that was also traveling westbound. The force of the collision caused the Cruze to become wedged underneath the tractor trailer. The man has not been identified by police at this time and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The tractor trailer driver did not sustain any injuries.
There is no word on the cause of the crash at this time.
