Orlando, FL (June 29, 2019) - One person is dead following a fiery, two-car crash in Orlando on Friday, June 28th. The crash happened around 4:45 a.m. on State Road 417, near Curry Ford Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a car and a truck pulling a trailer were both traveling southbound on SR 417. The vehicle collided with the back of the truck and then caught fire. The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside and died at the crash scene. The driver has not been identified at this time. No other injuries were reported by officials. The crash caused the southbound lanes of SR 417 to remain closed until around 7:00 a.m.
No further details have been released.
