Orlando, FL (August 9, 2019) – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a patrol car and a road ranger were struck by a pickup truck on I-4. The crash took place on Thursday evening, August 8th.
According to reports, troopers responded to the scene of the crash along the median, near the exit with Sand Lake Road. Authorities report that a pickup truck lost control and struck both the patrol car and the road ranger. A trooper suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
The driver of the pickup was charged with driving without a license and careless driving. No further information has been released.
