Osceola County, FL (June 12, 2019) - A motorcyclist died in a hit-and-run collision with a car on US-192. The crash occurred around 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11th.
According to reports, a car was traveling westbound on US-192 near Vineland Road. The driver suddenly attempted to make a U-turn to travel eastbound. As the car attempted to make the U-turn, it turned into the path of the oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle and car collided, resulting in the motorcycle rider being ejected. The motorcyclist died at the scene; their identity has not been released at this time, pending family notification.
Following the crash, the car fled the scene. Police have not released any information on the suspect vehicle at this time. The accident remains under investigation.
