Pace, FL (July 11, 2018) – One teenager was left with serious injuries in a car accident that took place in Pace. The Pace teenager was left in serious condition after she lost control of her 2002 Ford Mustang early Tuesday morning.
17-year-old Maria Brown was traveling north at the time of the incident on Scenic Highway. It happened around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday when she ran off the roadway suddenly, which caused her to go down an embankment near Pelican Lane. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene to investigate.
The front of Brown’s Mustang immediately struck a tree. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found that she had sustained serious injuries. She was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, where she remains today.
Charges are pending in the accident.
