Palm Bay, FL (October 24, 2019) - The victims in a fatal weekend crash in Palm Bay have been identified by authorities. The accident initially occurred on Sunday, October 20th around 9:00 p.m.
According to traffic homicide investigators, a 2006 Hyundai Sonata was traveling along US 1 when the car struck a median and went airborne before veering into the northbound lanes. While in the northbound lanes, the car slammed into a 2011 Toyota Corolla. Both vehicles sustained severe damage in the accident. Both the driver of the Sonata, as well as the Corolla driver died in the crash. The Sonata driver was identified as 47-year-old Artie Leslie Adkins, Jr. while the Toyota driver was identified as 37-year-old Sernatra Willie.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and toxicology tests have been ordered. There is no further information available.
