Palm Beach County, FL (March 4, 2019) - One person is dead following a three-car crash on Sunday, March 3rd, which took place on Southern Boulevard around 3:30 p.m.
According to reports, a semi-truck was traveling westbound on Southern Boulevard. The truck was in the right turn lane while a Ford F-150 and a third vehicle directly behind it were traveling southbound on State Road 700. The semi attempted to make a right turn but instead rolled over and landed on top of the Ford. The third vehicle then swerved off the roadway to avoid the crash.
The driver of the Ford died at the scene. Two people in the third car suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
We wish to extend our condolences to the family and friends of the driver who died in the crash. A fatal crash happens, on average, every three hours in Florida. When a crash involving a semi-truck occurs, it will commonly lead to serious injuries, and even fatalities in the worst cases.
