Palm Beach County, FL (March 11, 2021) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal accident on the Florida's Turnpike on Thursday. The crash happened around 6:00 a.m. near Exit 116.
According to troopers, the collision involved a tractor-trailer and pickup truck. Following the crash, rescue workers pronounced two victims deceased at the scene. The identities of the victims are not available at this time. Police have released few details on the events leading up to the wreck. Motorists were asked to avoid the area as drivers were diverted onto a nearby exit for several hours as officials investigated at the scene.
