Palm Beach Gardens, FL (May 13, 2019) - A crash involving eight cars left at least 17 people hurt on Monday, May 13th. The crash took place around 2:15 p.m. at mile marker 107 on Florida's Turnpike.
The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was called to the crash scene. There is no word at this time on how the crash occurred. A total of 17 victims were evaluated by rescue workers at the scene. Four of the victims were transported to the hospital with injuries, although the extent of the injuries is unknown at this time. The northbound lanes of the Turnpike were shut down while an investigation was ongoing. The lanes have since reopened.
