Palm Harbor, FL (November 20, 2019) - A woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian crash along Alderman Road in Palm Harbor. The crash occurred on Monday, November 18th around 12:43 p.m.
According to authorities, 68-year-old Frances Vasques was walking along Alderman Road near US 19 when she was hit by a 2014 Honda Accord. Vasques was on the sidewalk at the time the crash occurred. The driver of the Accord, 78-year-old Lorraine M. Lemire, told police that she failed to see Vasques. Vasques was taken to the hospital and was treated for severe injuries suffered in the crash. Lemire was not hurt.
Police issued Lemire a citation for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
