Panama City Beach, FL (November 2, 2018) - A pedestrian from Panama City Beach suffered serious and possibly life-threatening injuries while attempting to cross the road on Thursday, November 1st.
Panama City Beach Police was dispatched to the scene of the crash. There, they discovered that Robert Wynn was attempting to walk across Front Beach Road near the Aqua Vista Condominiums. Unfortunately, Wynn was struck by a van as he crossed the street. He was treated on scene by EMS personnel before being transported to Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart with serious injuries. Wynn's injuries are believed to be possibly life-threatening.
The van driver was not identified and it is not clear if they remained on scene following the crash. Police have released no information on how the crash took place or whether any charges would be filed. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
