Parrish, FL (October 6, 2018) - A crash was reported on Friday, October 5th along US 301 in Parrish. Authorities responded to a call for assistance just after 12:00 pm near Palm Boulevard and Chin Road.
The crash involved two vehicles, neither of which have been identified at this time. Florida Highway Patrol investigated the collision. According to FHP troopers, the crash involved injuries. An EMS unit was on the scene. Two cars were heavily damaged, with car parts strewn across the roadway. FHP blocked the westbound lanes of US 301 for a considerable time while troopers investigated the crash. The lanes were eventually reopened around 3:15 pm.
The crash investigation remains ongoing at this time. There is no word on how the accident occurred.
