Pasco County, FL (January 9, 2020) - A deadly pedestrian crash took place in Pasco County on Thursday, January 9th. The crash happened at the intersection of Old Dixie Highway and Aripeka Road.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. According to rescue workers, a pedestrian was struck by a car. The pedestrian, who has not been identified at this time, was pronounced dead from their injuries. No information as to the cause of the accident and it is not clear whether the driver remained at the scene.
Police advised drivers to find alternate routes of travel. There is no further information available at this time.
