Pasco County, FL (June 5, 2021) - A pedestrian was killed in a crash that happened in Pasco County early Saturday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 19 near the intersection with Regency Park Boulevard.
The pedestrian, a female, was crossing U.S. 19 when she was struck by a car in the southbound lanes. The woman, who was not identified died at the accident scene. The car was driven by a 33-year-old man from Hudson. He was not injured in the accident.
There is no information on potential criminal charges at this time. No further details have been released.
