Pinellas County, FL (May 22, 2021) - A pedestrian was killed while crossing I-275 in Pinellas County. The accident took place on Friday, May 21st.
According to a report from the scene, a 23-year-old 62-year-old man from Gulfport was walking eastbound across I-275 when he was hit by an SUV driven by a 23-year-old man. Following the first crash, the man was struck by a second vehicle driven by a 58-year-old man. The collision happened around 7:00 p.m. The pedestrian died at the crash scene as a result of his injuries. He was not immediately identified. No further injuries were reported.
