Pedestrian accidents in Florida can and often do lead to serious injuries for the victim. Pedestrians are extremely vulnerable to being hurt in these crashes as they have little protection from the force and impact of the collision. According to statistics, more than 75% of all pedestrians who are involved in accidents will require hospitalization. In many cases, these pedestrians are hurt in crashes that were not their fault and are merely innocent victims.
Our thoughts are with Jenna Hopkins following this pedestrian crash in Pinellas Park.
