Plantation, FL (August 31, 2021) - One person died in a multi-vehicle crash that took place in Plantation on Tuesday morning. The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on North Hiatus Road near West Broward Boulevard and Cleary Boulevard.
According to police, a 2018 Chevrolet and a 2003 GMC were traveling in the southbound lanes when the two vehicles collided with each other. The Chevrolet then struck a tree in the median and broke apart on impact. The Chevrolet driver was killed in the crash and multiple others in both vehicles were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The deceased victim was not identified pending family notification. There is no word on what caused the accident to occur.
